How We Trade

Beef Purchase Procedure

Every transaction follows our published Trade Verification Policy & Commodity Procedures. Each step has a fixed window, and a missed window lapses the offer.

  1. Letter of Intent — The buyer sends a signed LOI on company letterhead listing cuts, frozen or chilled, containers per month, destination port and Incoterms.
  2. CIS / KYC / NCNDA — The Client Information Sheet, full KYC package and NCNDA are completed. No offer is released before this.
  3. Full Corporate Offer — Defiant Trading issues an FCO within two business days of buyer qualification, including plant eligibility for the destination.
  4. ICPO — The buyer returns a signed Irrevocable Corporate Purchase Order.
  5. Proof of Funds — bank-to-bank — The buyer's bank confirms funds directly to Citibank N.A. Letters, screenshots and third-party "verification reports" are not accepted.
  6. Proof of Product — bank-to-bank — Full proof of product is confirmed bank-to-bank. Allocation letters are never released directly to buyers.
  7. SPA Executed — The Sales & Purchase Agreement is drafted and signed by both parties.
  8. Payment Instrument — The SBLC or LC is issued and confirmed by a Top-50 bank before the first container is booked.
  9. Loading & Documents — Containers are loaded under veterinary inspection, then the shipping and health documents are released against payment.
Buyer Protection

How to Verify a Real Beef Supplier

Frozen meat is one of the most common commodities used in advance-fee scams. These checks separate a genuine seller from one to walk away from.

A genuine seller will

  • Name the export plant and its registration number in the offer
  • Confirm the plant is approved for your destination market
  • Use a corporate email domain, not Gmail or other free email
  • Verify funds and product bank-to-bank only
  • Supply veterinary health certificates with every shipment
  • Give you a full SPA before any money moves

Walk away if you see

  • Upfront "booking", "registration" or "export licence" fees
  • Prices far below the market for the cut
  • No plant name or plant number in the offer
  • Proof of product as photos, PDFs or a "partial" release
  • Instruments from non-bank or e-money institutions
  • Shipping documents routed to unrelated third parties

Buyer Questions

Beef — Frequently Asked Questions

Which beef cuts do you supply?
Ribeye, striploin (NY strip), tenderloin (filet mignon), porterhouse / T-bone, flat iron and tri-tip, plus whole primals and the 6-way cut. Other cuts can be quoted on request.
Is the beef frozen or chilled?
Both. Frozen beef is the standard for long-haul destinations; chilled vacuum-packed beef is available where transit time allows. Both ship in 40ft refrigerated containers.
What is the minimum order for beef?
Orders are placed by the 40ft reefer container (FCL). A trial container is available before a monthly program; monthly programs can run to hundreds of containers across multiple cuts.
Where does the beef come from?
We supply beef from Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay. Beef is produced in federally inspected export plants, and eligibility for your destination market is confirmed for each order.
Can you ship beef to China?
Yes. We ship CIF to main Chinese ports from plants approved for export to China. Plant eligibility is confirmed in the Full Corporate Offer.
What payment terms apply?
Irrevocable transferable SBLC (MT760) or LC (MT700) from a Top-50 world bank, or TT for approved buyers. Proof of funds and proof of product are exchanged bank-to-bank only, and Defiant Trading never requests upfront fees.
How do I order beef?
Send a signed Letter of Intent listing the cuts, frozen or chilled, the number of containers per month, the destination port and the Incoterms to sales@defianttrading.com. After CIS, KYC and NCNDA, a Full Corporate Offer is issued within two business days.
